[edit] TV Appearances

The interaction she had on the TV program Utaban really brought her to the forefront of Morning Musume up to her graduation. Multiple episodes of the show were entirely devoted to her (and Morning Musume as a result). The way the hosts would harass her even spilled over into other shows.
