Keith Schaefer (born December 20, 1928) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with South Melbourne in the VFL.
Schaefer played as a centreman and won South Melbourne's best and fairest in 1952. In 1948 he represented Victoria in interstate football. He retired at the age of just twenty four.
