Keith Mondesir

Keith Mondesir is a Saint Lucian politician who represents the constituency of Anse la Raye-Canaries for the United Workers Party. Mondesir won the seat at the general election held on 11 December 2006. Dr. Mondesir is a former Optometrist in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

In the government of John Compton, sworn in on 19 December 2006, Mondesir became Minister of Home Affairs and National Security.[1] In a cabinet reshuffle in early June 2007, Mondesir became Minister of Physical Development and National Mobilization instead,[2] and in another reshuffle on September 12, 2007, under Prime Minister Stephenson King following Compton's death, Mondesir became Minister for Health, Wellness, Family Affairs, National Mobilization, Human Services and Gender Relations.[3]
