Keir Simmons

Keir Simmons is a British television reporter for ITV News, and has recently covered the Tsunami[1], the 7/7 bombings [2] and the death of Russian Alexander Litvinenko[3]. In 2003 he was nominated for an RTS Award[4].

He was born in London in 1972, grew up in Bristol, and received a Bachelor's degree from Goldsmiths College in London.[5] He currently lives in South East London.[6]

Keir joined ITN as a reporter for IRN in 1996. He subsequently worked for Sky News, Five News and ITV's London Tonight[7].
