Keith Derrick Twing was born on January 14th, 1974 at St Mary's hospital in Hobart Indiana to his Mother, Janis Marie Cooper and Keith Brewster Twing.
Keith grew up in LaSalle Illinois until the age of 12 when he lived for a couple years with his father in Venice Florida. When he was 15 he moved back to LaSalle with his mother. At the age of 20 he joined the United States Marine Corps where he was trained as a Combat Engineer. He was stationed for two years in Okinawa Japan where he had a chance to visit numerous asian countires. In 1996 he decided to apply for Marine Corps Security Forces, a special duty guarding assets involving national security. After school he was station in Naples Italy. Keith met his wife Shannon Lee Burke while stationed in Italy, she was a US Navy Corpsman. After a year of dating they married in a small ceremony in Greeley, Colorado. Now married they both recieved orders to North Carolina. Shannon worked at Camp Giegers branch medical Clinic while keith worked at New River Air Station. Shannon left the Navy in 2000 after 6 years of service, Keith departed the Marine Corps in 2001. He actually went on terminal leave the day after 9/11. He tried to reverse his discharge but the damage was already done. Keith and Shannon moved to Winchester Virginia where they lived with their two daughters Ashlyn and Jaelyn. In 2007 they divorced and Shannon took thier daughters to live in Greeley, Colorado while keith stayed in Virgnia.
