Mailer first married in 1944 to Beatrice Silverman and was married ofr ten years to her before divorcing and marrying Adele Morales in 1954. He was married to Lady Jeanne Louise Campbell1 who he married 1962 for only a year before divorcing to marry Beverly Bentley in 1963.

Before his current wife he wsa married to Carol Stevens in 1980.

Lady Jeanne Louise Campbell was born on 10 December 1928.1 She was the daughter of Sir Ian Douglas Campbell, 11th Duke of Argyll and Hon. Janet Gladys Aitken.1 She married, firstly, Norman Mailer, son of Isaac Barnett Mailer, in 1962.1 She and Norman Mailer were divorced in 1963.1 She married, secondly, John Sergeant Cram, son of Henry Sergeant Cram, in March 1964.1 She died on 4 June 2007 at age 78. From 1962, her married name became Mailer. From March 1964, her married name became Cram. She was a journalist.1
