[edit] Casimir effect
You wrote: Sorry for this but you can delete it (...) Can you please tell me only ONE BOOK that says the Casimir-effect is caused by virtual particles??? The Casimir-effect is explained by zero point oscillations and not by the concept of virtual particles. You can ask someone, every professor if he knows something about this would tell you the Casimir-effect is explained in terms of the electromagnetic zero point energy
- First of all, I don't understand why you came to me about this - I haven't made changes to the content of neither Casimir effect nor virtual particle. Second, in this case the virtual particles are zero-point EM fluctuations, so both descriptions are fine. Third, please post comments on the bottom of other people's talk pages in the future - what you did on my talk page is considered rude. Cheers and welcome to Wikipedia. - I understand your point now, thanks for explaining me this distinction in terminology. Karol 22:13, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Casimir Effect Dispute
Hey there. I'm disputing your assertion that the Casimir Effect is not explainable using virtual particles. Please discuss this with me on that talk page. =) -- Intangir 08:17, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
