Kazuaki Ogikubo

Kazuaki Ogikubo (荻久保 和明 Ogikubo Kazuaki?, born 8 March 1953 in Saitama) is a Japanese composer and conductor.

Graduated Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Studied under Jo Shimaoka, Akio Yashiro, Teruyuki Noda and Michio Mamiya. In 1976, he won the first prize at Mainichi Music Competition. He has been familiar to Japanese choirs since his virtual first choral work "Eyes to the Season" (Kisetsu he no manazashi; for mixed/men's chorus and piano).
