Kayla Williams

Kayla Williams (born 1976) is a female American soldier who wrote the book, Love My Rifle More Than You about her experiences in the Army as an Arabic linguist/interpreter and SIGINT operations specialist.
Williams served five years in the military, including a year's deployment (2002/3) in SWA (Iraq & Kuwait) during the buildup to and during the invasion of Iraq. She continued to serve in Iraq until December of 2003.
She served in the 101st ABN Div (Air Assault), 3d BCT, (187th Inf Regt) "Rakkasans".
