[edit] Did she play badminton?

There is also a Kitty McKane who played badminton between 1920 and 1930, and won nine All England Open Badminton Championships. Is she the same women? MontanNito 15:43, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

  • Yes, she is, according to the article in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. Myopic Bookworm 15:42, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Ok, thank you. I have added this in the article. MontanNito 18:16, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Name

Was she ever actually called "Kathleen McKane Godfree"? This is a very American way of giving a married woman's name: I would expect a British woman simply to have changed her name from McKane to Godfree on marriage, and so be "Kathleen Godfree (née McKane).
