Talk:Kate Carnell
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
She was never a Premier at all.
She was not the first female Chief Minister - that was Rosemary Follett (ALP).
Her only claim to fame is the first female Chief Minister representing the Liberal Party. But so what?
She may have been lobbying to take over Margaret Reid's senate seat, but that did not eventuate and another former Chief Minister Gary Humphries is now the Liberal Senator for the ACT.

[edit] Post-Liberal achievements
In regards to the said subheading in the article, it would imply that she is no longer a member of the Liberal Party. Is this true, since the article does not state when she left the party and her reason for doing so.--The Shadow Treasurer (talk) 00:01, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
