[edit] Own member pages?
I'm suggesting that you guys (I'm not a fan) make individual member pages for each of them. It seems unnecessary to include such in-depth information about the members, such as what dramas they've starred in, on their band page. I could do it (even though I know nothing about them) if no one wants to, but I want to ask everyone who has worked on this article first. -- Tydus Arandor 06:19, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
- I haven't worked on this article, but I'm working now on the German one. If you've got spare time and are willig to do this I suggest it's best to make member pages and clean this article from anything not directly related to only KAT-TUN. This article is somewhat messy. --Franczeska 20:59, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Obviously there are already member's pages, just the information needs to be inserted there. --Franczeska 21:02, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- If I'm seeing it correctly, only one member (Tatsuya Ueda) has a page right now. Kamenashi's only redirects to this article. -- Tydus Arandor 08:03, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
- Aight, I've just taken something around an hour to convert the member information (only their paragraphs, not their CMs and everything else yet) and put them in a newly created page for them. I'll move the other things another day (if it's not moved by the time anyone spots it, please help!). -- Tydus Arandor 06:19, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Names
It seems awkward, especially in the "Commercials" section, that all members except Taguchi Junnosuke are called by their last names, especially as it has been confirmed that he is called "Taguchi-kun" not "Junnosuke-kun" by most of his friends. Is there any reason for the non-standardization of the given name vs. surname in this case? 72.66.106.237 22:56, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Any living person should be referred to by their last names (unless if they share the same last name, I assume), per the Manual of Style for biographies. If you didn't know, this article is extremely messy compared to a "regular" article. This first name last name deal is probably just caused by a fan who is not familiar with Wikipedia's formatting. I do sometimes help cleanup the page, but it is hard as I am not actually a fan. Please help clean this page up if you can! -- Tydus Arandor 23:27, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Correct. It is not encyclopedic to refer to a person as "-kun", "-san", "-chan", or even by their nicknames. All of these are usually used by fans, and should be avoided anytime you write on Wikipedia. Groink 09:03, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
What way should the names be used, if other than last name only? There's quite a few places where full names are used, but some are in Japanese format (family name, first) while other are in Western style (first, family name).
