Katrina and the Waves is the third album by new wave band Katrina and the Waves, and the first released on a major label, released in 1985 (see 1985 in music). It consisted of new, re-recorded versions of songs from the two independently released albums the group had put out earlier, with more "jazzed-up" music. "Walking on Sunshine" became a pop hit in the United States, leading some to refer to the group as a one-hit wonder, but in fact two other singles from this album made it into the Billboard Hot 100.
