Katie Marie is a multi instrumentalist and songwriter hailing from Totnes, Devon UK. Born in the nearby town of Torquay on September 25th 1980, Katie has been gigging since the age of 16. In 1999 she released her first single Have My Love and within its first week became #1 in the many online charts including Soundclick.com. It stayed in the #1 slot for a further 7 weeks straight and since then it has been downloaded over 15,000 times.
Katie Marie not only sings on all her own work, but also plays drums, bass guitar, rhythm guitar and piano to a high standard and is regarded amongst many as one of the UK's most talented female musicians; but as of yet remains relatively undiscovered.
Along with her solo work, Katie currently plays drums in Devon based punk band the Reoffenders and also plays guitar in a duet called Lorelei
Katie Marie has two CD releases, her first EP Been Here Before released in 2000 (which is no longer available to buy) and also Confessions released in 2003.
