Katherine Bernhardt

Katherine Bernhardt (born 1975) is an artist based in Brooklyn.

Bernhardt was born in St Louis. She paints portraits of women based on pictures from glossy magazines[1] and well-known consumer symbols using acrylics, specialty paints and glitter, all in an expressionistic, almost abstract style.[2]

She received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York.
