Kate Dollenmayer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Debuting as lead actor in the 2002 film Funny Ha Ha by Andrew Bujalski, Kate Dollenmayer made her first entry into the arts world in 2001, as an animator for the acclaimed dream-philosophy short film, Waking Life. Graduating in 2005 from the California Institute of the Arts, Dollenmayer's thesis The Dream is Still a Dream was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art show TOMORROWLAND: CalArts in Moving Pictures.
Apart from a role in the highly-rated Mutual Appreciation, a 2005 film by Bujalski, Dollenmayer has taken a more behind-the-scenes part in film, including executive production (A Sim-ple Romance, 2007), art department (painter in The One Second Film, 2007), and also as an editor for the 2004 TV series Kevin and Drew Unleashed.
Perhaps somewhat less widely known is her appearance in a YouTube post, Kate and the vibration chair.
