Kate Allan (b. 1975) is UK author of Perfidy and Perfection, Fateful Deception (shortlisted for the 2005 Joan Hessayon New Writers Award) and The Restless Heart. She is co-author of The Lady Soldier with Jennifer Lindsay.
Allen was educated at the all-girls' Bedford High School. She is member of the Romantic Novelists Association, the Historical Novels Society, the Society of Authors, and Verulam Writers' Circle.
