Kastellaun is a municipality in the Rhein-Hunsrück district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated in the Hunsrück, approx. 11 km northwest of Simmern, and 35 km southwest of Koblenz.
Kastellaun is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Kastellaun.
