Kas Graham

A descendent of Mary Shelley, Kas Graham (often credited as Kas) is a UK screenwriter and filmmaker. Kas Graham was born in Norfolk and studied at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London.

After working for Illeen Maisel at New Line, Kas Graham was mentored by the South African screenwriter Shawn Slovo.

Kas Graham has written two scripts for films directed by the Oscar nominated Polish director Lukasz Karwowski.

Kas Graham is also an award winning video director and photographer.

In 1998, Kas Graham founded a country inside London called The Independent State of Kas. Very little is known about this experiment, but it is known to have been recognised by Queen Elizabeth II and volunatrily disbanded later in that year. the experiment led to several imitators, most recently as part of a television series for C4 presented by Danny Wallace.
