[edit] Suggestions: Prior to attempting to delete contributions of others

  • From Wikipedia：In order to resolve problems before any deletion proposals, the following approaches are suggested (but not a responsibility):
    • To solve a problem before a delection proposal, please try to discuss the matters with the related contributors of the articles and images.
    • As similar issues may have been discussed earlier, please try to confirm from, for instance, the talk page of the proposed target.
  • From myself：Try to think again about the feeling people will have. If possible, it may be more effective to rewrite the imperferct parts written than to delete.

I am glad to tell you that, out local chapter, Wikimedia Hong Kong is now open for membership applications. The Chapter will hold several Recruitment days in different locations in the territory.


Please check out the time, date and location of the recruitment days here, and please hand in your application in person in the one that is convenient to you. Please follow the instruction on that page, and better prepare all the documents needed before the recruitment day.
