Dr. Yar, Kar Peo (born 12 March 1974) is a research engineer who works in Institute for Infocomm Research in Singapore. He obtained his PhD degree from University of Michigan - Ann Arbor under the supervision of Professor Wayne Eric Stark. His research area focus on the coding and modulation aspect of digital communications.

While pursuing his PhD qualification, his wife gave birth to 2 boys in Ann Arbor. He hopes to return to Ann Arbor if there is any opportunity. He can be contacted at karpeo@gmail.com.
