I have taken the date that he left GE from the profile on the World Golf Hall of Fame site. Spactacus schoolnet says that he established Karsten Manufacturing in 1959 and left GE in 1961. The former may be the date when he first manufactured golf clubs in his garage. Osomec 14:26, 15 August 2005 (UTC)
