[edit] Alfred Nobel in Karlskoga

In the article it is written that "Alfred Nobel was born in Karlskoga in 1833". This is simply false. The name Nobel comes from a village near the Swedish town Kristianstad named Nöbbelöv which Nobel´s father latinized to Nobel, as he moved to Stockholm before Alfred was born, to become an inventor. He was born in Stockholm but was for a great part of his childhood raised in Sankt Petersburg. He didn´t visit Karlskoga until he was a man in his middle ages.

The only connection between Karlskoga and Alfred Nobel was that Nobel decided to build a armaments factory and established a dynamite factory there due to Karlskoga´s location in middle of Sweden, far away from potential dangers. He didn´t live there for any longer periods nor had any other connenctions to the place whatsoever.

So change it. Don't forget to cite the source, and start signing your discussion posts, or else they're not worth much. --- Andkaha(talk) 23:37, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
