who keeps on removing pictures?
- There is an uncommented edit by 209.155.49.3 (talk | contribs) on 19:14, 23 January 2006 removing two pictures and some text. I don't know if I should revert that edit...? I know nothing of the subject; I was here just to revert some vandalism by the next guy, Pinsk (who actually added an image, but one that reflects his state of mind rather than this subject.) Resolve this among yourselves, please don't involve me :-) Weregerbil 18:32, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
I never heard that Pinsk started because of inner rebellion against the previous Rebbe. However when Rebbe Yochanan passed away the current Stoliner Rebbe was one year old and many chasidim did not feel like remaining without a Rebbe until he grew up.
- Redaktor: Karlin most definitely is headquartered in Jerusalem. The fact that the Rebbe spends most of his time in Givat Zeev doesn't change the fact that 1) 99% of the chassidim are still in Jerusalem, 2) the main shul is in Jerusalem. The only things you'll find in Givat Zeev are the Rebbe and a few of his chassidim (AFAIK, barely a minyan). You can't seriously claim that Givat Zeev is the center/HQ of Karlin-Stolin. Besides: Anshei Yerushalaim, their offshoot, most definitely is headquartered in Jerusalem. I've been to some of their activities. --D. Breslauer (talk) 13:41, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
