[edit] Note on Karl vs. Carl

Lepsius published in both French and German. In French publications he is generally known as Carl, and Karl in German ones. However, today he is by far referred to as Karl Richard Lepsius (or just Richard Lepsius); see Google. The use of "Karl" here also reflects the usage of the German Wiki —Nefertum17 14:17, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)

It's so cool to have this article! Over at Nubian languages I was just adding a paragraph about the history of research into Nubian and somehow I didn't expect the link to Lepsius to be blue... kudos for the nice work! — mark 18:11, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)
