[edit] POV issue

Long story short: There are no samurai. Noone can be awarded a "samuraiship" for the Samurai was abolished permanently in 1870's. There are no honorary samurai-titles left. Karl Beatties claim of being a samurai is inaccurate and I can attest he is a laughingstock at many martial arts communities (though that of course has no place either in the article). 83.255.65.239 17:41, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Since that is no longer in the article, I'm removing the tag - doing tag cleanup. It can of course be returned and commented if there is cause.Jjdon (talk) 20:17, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
