[edit] Karelianism vs. politics

What is now called Karelianism had originally very little to do with a political agenda. It was more like a thematic play ground for a bunch of artists in the 19th century. The political aspect of it came later on, towards the 1920s. Clarifer 15:16, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
