karlophone is the recording name of Karl Koch. Koch began recording his sample-heavy/sound collage music in 1996. The first Karlophone album, Press Any Key To Begin was released by Amorphous Records in September of 2002. Karlophone also released a 7" record titled Desire in the spring of 2004. The second karlophone LP #2 I Must Find This Karlophone... was released the last week of 2006. Koch has stated disappointment over the sales of the album. Koch has recently stated that he is working on a third LP.
