Karl Sandoval is a luthier. He is best known for making a polka dot V for Randy Rhoads,[citation needed] in addition to his work for Eddie Van Halen[citation needed] and George Lynch[citation needed] (Dokken) during the 1980s. He is still in business today. Joshua Miktarian of the band Barium bought one of Karl's signature Randy Rhoads polka dot guitars. Joshua is said to regard this guitar as his favorite collectible guitar.
