Karl Bärmann

Carl Bärmann (1811-1885) was clarinet player and the son of noted clarinet virtuoso Heinrich Bärmann. Among other performances, he toured Europe with his father performing Mendelssohn's Concert Pieces to great acclaim.

His "Complete Method" for clarinet playing has been a standard work in clarinet pedagogy for over 100 years.
