Karkhana is a neighbourhood in the city of Secunderabad, India. Part of the Trimulgherry suburb, Karkhana is approximately 4 kilometres (2.5 miles) from Secunderabad station and approximately 1 kilometre (.6 miles) from Jubilee Bus stand. The region has experienced a real estate boom in recent years and has become a base for a number of small IT start-ups. It can be reached easily by public transport and is well connected to surrounding areas. Being in the Secunderabad Cantonment area, the neighborhood is generally[weasel words] safe and secure.

This suburb is expanding rapidly with fast-food centers, retail and factory outlet stores, shopping malls, corporate hospitals, etc. Big companies like McDonalds, KFC, Reliance Fresh, Food World, Ratnadeep Super Market, G Pulla Reddy Sweet House, and ICICI Bank are located on this stretch. Recently Rainbow mall was started in this suburb.

Karkhana is quite near to Secunderabad club, a popular establishment with both indoor and outdoor sports facilities.

APSRTC connects Karkhana to Secunderabad Station, Paradise, thereby connecting commuters to all parts of the city. Jubliee Bus Station (JBS) is just one km distance away. JBS has a well connected network to many places in the Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring states. The plan for the 1st phase of Hyderabad Metro train has a selected JBS in the route plan.
The closest MMTS Train station is at Secunderabad.
