Karen Robson

Karen Robson (born March 19, 1957 in Malacca, Malaysia) is a film finance lawyer, film producer and actress, best known for her portrayal of the mysterious brunette Irma in Picnic at Hanging Rock.

Robson gave up acting after being passed over for the main role in the film My Brilliant Career. She has since moved into film production and is a partner at the Los Angeles entertainment law firm Pryor Cashman, specialising in film finance; Robson has helped produce films ranging from Nick Nolte's Affliction to Sylvester Stallone's Cliffhanger.

Robson is married to Iranian-born film director Ramin Niami and has two children, an eight-year-old girl and a baby boy.
