Kardanakhi is a vilage in Georgia region of Kalkheti. It is very traditional and beautiful Georgian village. The lifestile of Georgian people is well shown in this village. Everyone is working in vineyeards, cultivating land and etc. Kardanakhi has a great history. According to story Shah Abas I had Georgian grandmother. He once asked how to destroy the villages. So She said to cut off all vineyeards. Shah Abas did so, but next year when he visited Georgian King, he had to pass through Kardanakhi. The vineyeard grew even better then it was before cutdown. The villigians came to Shah and sayd Kargad nakhet, which means look carefully. So from that time this village was called Kardanakhi.
