This photograph appears in a brochure about Karlis Ulmanis entitled "Nebraska Student - Statesman - Leader" published in 1954 by Apgads VAIDAVA (A. Augstums), 1634 N. St., Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. The brochure was issued commensurate with the 1954 dedication of the plaque to Karlis Ulmanis at the University of Nebraska. The photo is at least 20-30 years older than that. The photo is posted by Andis Kaulins, who grew up as a friend of the family Augstums.
