Kapus are not Telugu Chodas, Renati Chodas, Pothapi chodas, etc. There is no inscriptional evidence for this claim. No single inscription is telling that kapus as chodas. How can you say that Kapus are Chodas. Choda surnames are in several BC, SC castes. Even Vijaya Nagar kings, Chandragiri, Penukonda, Udayagiri dynasties are also not kapus. There is no inscriptional evidence for this claim. check this. According to India Today Kapu/telaga/balija/ontari population is only 15%.
