Original caption: 享和元年（一八〇一）に水戸藩東浜で網にかかった河童の姿。「身長三尺五寸、重さ十二貫目。胸が隆起し、猪首。背が曲がっている。」と記されています。

Translation: Drawing of Kappa which was caught in net on Mito east beach. Height 3 shaku (about 1 metre), weight 12 kamme (45kg) The chest protudes and the neck is bent. This is what is recorded.
