I just spent the last couple days in Kanab and heard or saw nothing of the so called controversy. To say it has had a significant effect on the local economy seems a stretch to me. Also, links to the proclamation on the family seem speculative. Epachamo 04:23, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Just because you didn't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You didn't see any of the stickers on business fronts? Did you ask the locals about this issue? It's received national attention in the New York Times and LA Times. As a resident of Kanab, I think it's an important topic that shouldn't be ignored. This article makes no mention of a "significant effect on the local economy." I agree with the links being speculative...it needs stronger supporting arguments. TylerW 13:48, 27 September 2006 (MST)
