Kanyanagar is a census town in South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal.

As of 2001 India census[1], Kanyanagar had a population of 10,193. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Kanyanagar has an average literacy rate of 78%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 85%, and female literacy is 71%. In Kanyanagar, 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.
