Kanjo (literally ‘emotion’) is the Japanese word that sums up the way the head and heart make you feel about things. As with many ancient and oriental words there are various meanings and connotations. One of these refers to higher levels within Buddhism. Learning, teaching, understanding are the things encapsulated by this very personal word. Those who speak it or use it within their everyday philosophy, are people who understand at a deep level the power words (and their meanings) can have.
