Kangaroo Flat is a railway station on the Echuca and Swan Hill railway lines in Kangaroo Flat, Victoria, Australia. It is 157km from Southern Cross station.

Kangaroo Flat Railway Station is on Station St. (off High St.) Kangaroo Flat, Bendigo. It is staffed frrom 6.15am to 12.15pm Monday-Friday. At other times, tickets can be purchased on board trains.

The Kangaroo Flat community conducted a strong local campaign from 2006 to increase services at the station and end years of neglect by the Bracks/Brumby Government. In the lead up to the 2006 Victorian election, the Liberal transport spokesman Terry Mulder announced his party would bring the station back to life with more than 200 extra services a week.

While the Labor government was re-elected, the community campaign continued and included more than 1800 people signing a petition launched by the Golden Square branch of the Liberal Party. This petition played a key role in forcing the Victorian Government to introduce extra services from April 27 2008 - there were 186 new services, still well short of the Liberal plan but the first victory for the community in better transport services for Bendigo's southern growth corridor.

The vision of the community and the local Liberals has seen the popularity of travelling by train in Kangaroo Flat quickly establish itself. Unfortunately, passengers and the community are still waiting for work to start on construction of a permanent carpark. The temporary area has had to be extended.

The community vision is for a safe, secure and vibrant Kangaroo Flat railway station precinct.

IN 2007 Kangaroo Flat recived a refurbishment of the buildings, including the Viclink sinage.
