Kanchanpur District, a part of Mahakali zone, is one of the seventy-five districts of Nepal. The Mahakali River flows on the west of Kanchanpur District. Located in the district are Dodhara and Chadani (two islands in the Mahakali river) and the Shuklaphata Wildlife Reserve.
