Kanaya (金谷町 Kanaya-chō?) was a town located in Haibara District, Shizuoka, Japan. In 2005, Kanaya merged into its long time twin city of Shimada.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 20,485 and a density of 318.29 persons per km². The total area is 64.36 km².
