Kamareddi (KMR) is possibly located at .[1] It has an average area covered of 10,000 meters (100 km) measured at the main foot path.

Telugu is the language people speak in KMR. Kamareddy town is known for a good religious diversity.

As of 2001 India census,[2] Kamareddy had a population of 64,222. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Kamareddy has an average literacy rate of 89%, male literacy is 59%, and female literacy is 30%. In Kamareddy, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
