Kamareddi (KMR) is possibly located at 18.3167° N 78.3500° E.[1] It has an average area covered of 10,000 meters (100 km) measured at the main foot path.

Present MLA is Shabbir Ali. He is the state cabinet Minister.

Telugu is the language people speak in KMR. Kamareddy town is known for a good religious diversity.

As of 2001 India census,[2] Kamareddy had a population of 64,222. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Kamareddy has an average literacy rate of 89%, male literacy is 59%, and female literacy is 30%. In Kamareddy, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
