During British occupation, the name used for this town was Callian/Calliana. There was a cast iron mile marker just as you left the city limits on Murbad Road which had the name "Callian". I used to walk passed it while on my way to Ulhasnagar. Et302 (talk) 20:21, 1 May 2008 (UTC).
