I do agree that sand is necessery for constructions, but nothing should be done by depleting our mother nature.It is very evident that still river sand mining is a big business in and around almost all river banks of Kerala atleast.Here too the main problem is corruption.You people reading this will not understand the magnitude of the problem until and unless you see it.River banks are falling and the people living on the banks are forced to migrate to other places.The situation is aggrivated during monsoon seasons.
