[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Kalacover.jpg

Image:Kalacover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Leak

The entire album has leaked including Paper Planes, as of (at latest) July 30, 2007. So the article should be updated. 71.175.66.65 00:47, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Covers and samples

I have removed some things such as the Blue Monday sample, because it does not mention this at all in the liner notes of Kala. I left some things like the opening line of "The Turn" because it wouldn't be enough of a sample to feature in the liner notes.XL XR2 01:42, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

XR2 sounds to me like it has samples of UH and Come on from a Blacksheep song, I can't remember what one of the top of my head though. probably Pass The 40 from A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing (album), and I think the sample is from Chi Ali. I can't find my cd to confirm or not, but ya. Anyone else agree? Actually, it sounds like the sample used in The Choice is Yours, which you can hear on the Black Sheep myspace page http://www.myspace.com/blacksheep Samples are hard to keep track of.

I think the samples section should maybe be handled in a different way. The fact that songs use the same lyrics or very similar sounding clips is relevant, but I don't think "Straight to Hell" is directly sampled on "Paper Planes," they just created a very similar sounding riff. These references could be classified more specifically maybe.Atherva 02:05, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
