Kakumanu is a village and a mandal in Guntur district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. ^[1]

Doctor Daggubati Ramanaidu EX. MP has developed two drinking water schemes for this village. First scheme was from Krotta kalava (cost 10 lakh rupees). second scheme is drinking water from Kommamuru kalava For more than 10-15 villages (costs 1 crore rupees).
Kongara Suraiah was Village president for this village more than two decades. Later Kandru Haribabu was Village president for 5 years from 1989 to 1994. 'Nannapaneni Hanumayamma' was President for next five years. Nannapaneni Kishore Babu was President for next five years. J.Yagnamnarayana is the present president since 2006.
