[edit] Welcome
Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! [edit] James Hamilton Academy
A {{prod}} template has been added to the article James Hamilton Academy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Jameson L. Tai 18:19, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] October 2007
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with James Hamilton Academy. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 18:29, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with James Hamilton Academy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 18:31, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Changing Society
A tag has been placed on Changing Society, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A1.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 18:50, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Modern Studies
You recently edited the article Modern Studies. Unfortunately, your edits do not follow Wikipedia's style guidelines. If you would like to make large-scale changes to articles, please read our guide to writing articles to learn more about organizing content on Wikipedia pages.
The cumulative effect of your edits on the page Modern Studies was to remove all of the previous content and replace it with what seems to be a list of definitions. Feel free to change and extend articles, but it is best not to remove significant blocks of content without first discussing it on an article's talk page. As Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, we also prefer that pages have an encyclopedic article format, rather than an outline- or list-based organization scheme. Since your edits were quite extensive and removed much existing content, the easiest way for you to incorporate new information into the Modern Studies article may be to simply revert to a previous version and insert the information into the appropriate sections.
