[edit] References
Welcome to Wikipedia! I see that you had some questions about references when they are used more than once. I can answer that for you.
- For the first one of a certain source, add <ref name="nickname">http://www.website.com</ref>
- For any repeats of that source, use simply <ref name="nickname"/>
- NOTE: Actually use the URL of the website OR the citation of the source if it's a book, and replace nickname with a nickname that corresponds to the reference.
- Also, if {{reflist}} or <references/> is present in the References section, it will automatically add all of the references from the article, so you don't have to manually do it. It's great.
For another, unrelated tip for future reference, the titles of sections aren't supposed to be capitalized. I thought that they should at first too, but it must be kept consistent, according to the Manual of Style.
I hope that you continue to edit Wikipedia, and if you are interested in adoption by an experienced editor, let me know on my talk page. Happy Wikying! - hmwithtalk 11:07, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
