Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University named after the eminent leader Shyamji Krishna Verma of Kachchh, Gujarat, India is a regional university which aims to promote higher education in regional and Rural areas of the country. The University started with 10 colleges in 2004 having 22 colleges with more than 15000 students and nearly 200 teachers working in the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, Education , Law, Technology including Engineering and Pharmacy. The University is providing higher education as par with any other university of the state and India. Besides, the University also organizes the youth culture and sports activities to encourage the students and provides them a platform to participate in the Inter University Culture and sports activities organized by AIU.
